It has been there for years. Lots of Kitsch. Remodeled in the 50’s. Clean. Barcelona, a great tapas restaurant, is attached. They grow some of their own vegetables.

Met him on the green in Woodstock. The area has become more solid and less green with the addition of slate, but the appearance of the individuals who occupy the space has not changed in the 40 years I have been going there. He looks the same as everyone else who I have met and spoken with. What was missing? A sign! Like, “Make peace now,” or “War Sucks.”

John Anctil can light any scene. He has a shop filled with lamps and things to hold them. He founded Fast Lights in Turners Falls MA, a company that brings lights wherever they are needed.
